"I want to thank PBS for giving my son his future. When he was in kindergarten, he saw something on PBS in Norfolk, VA, that made him say 'that's what I want to be when I grow up.' He would tell people he wanted to be a doctor but not work on people, he wanted to do research. He is about to start his third year at Texas A&M as a bio/chem major. His GPA is 3.29! ... "I can only say the Lehrer/Bernanke interview format was excellent from many perspectives [BERNANKE ON THE RECORD]. But what I especially appreciated was how you directly elevated TV to be more educational for us ... it continued your in-studio dialogue format and offered information. It also shrunk the vastness of big government in an auditorium size setting, allowing a world leader to be questioned by citizens.
